JANSEN, ARQUEBUSIER DU ROI A BRUXELLES', bead fore-sight, acanthus engraving and gold line to the rib-end at breech, carved percussion fences, borderline and scroll engraved long top-tang, border and scroll engraved back-action locks and action body, the left side featuring dogs flushing gamebirds, the right side with stags and does, scroll engraved hammers with signature surrounding the bases, walnut chequered butt-stock, engraved long-spurred iron heel-plate, 'Jones' patent swing under-lever, chequered walnut splinter fore-end and traces of original finish
